Shipping Policies

Our Shipping Procedures for Online, Phone Order, & In Store Purchases:

When requesting shipment of an 'ONLINE' or 'PHONE ORDER' Certificate Diamond purchase by bank wire payment, Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc. will only ship to a home address, a business address, a Federal Express pickup location, or to an alternate address when it is provided by the purchaser through email correspondence. 

When requesting shipment of an 'IN STOCK' jewelry item purchased 'ONLINE' or by 'PHONE ORDER' using PAY PAL payment, Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc, will only ship your purchase to your PAY PAL shipping address. A Droste's diamond sales consultant or Certified Gemologist-Appraiser will confirm your PAY PAL shipping address with you before your purchase is packaged and shipped. 

If present at either Droste's location, and shipment is requested for an 'ONLINE,' 'PHONE ORDER,' or 'IN STORE' item purchased, or 'CUSTOMER OWNED' item that was 'SERVICED' or 'REPAIRED' is requested, and payment is made using any of the following accepted payment methods: CASH, PERSONAL CHECK, CREDIT CARD, or DEBIT CARD using a Visa, MasterCard, or Discover, the 'ITEM' will be shipped by FED EX OVERNIGHT DELIVERY. In some cases, at the request of the purchaser, if the item being shipped is under $500 in value, the items will be shipped by an alternate shipping method. These methods can include UPS, USPS, or FED EX postal services that also provide Registered Mail, Standard Delivery, Second Day, or other methods of delivery. 

Prior to shipping, any 'ONLINE,' 'PHONE ORDER,' or 'IN STORE' item that is purchased from Droste's, or other 'ITEM' that is OWNED by the CUSTOMER that 'SERVICED' or 'REPAIRED' will be inspected for quality by one of Droste's professional sales consultants or Certified Gemologist-Appraisers to make sure it meets the highest standard for quality. This includes verification that all diamonds and gemstones are secured and set properly.

Before shipping
an 'ONLINE,' 'PHONE ORDER,' or 'IN STORE' item purchased from Droste's, or other item that is OWNED by the CUSTOMER that 'SERVICED' or 'REPAIRED,' the item will be digitally video recorded during packaging to document the exact contents of the shipment for the protection of both the buyer and seller.

Shipment will be packaged to include the actual 
'ONLINE,' 'PHONE ORDER,' or 'IN STORE' item purchased, or the 'CUSTOMER OWNED' item that was 'SERVICED' or 'REPAIRED, the Invoice, and any other related documents or packaging. 

The customer is ALWAYS responsible for Shipping & Postal Insurance costs on an 'ITEM' shipped at the request of the customer. Any exception will only be made at the sole discretion of Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc. and its management.

Droste’s Jewelry Shoppes Inc. will not refund, or be responsible for any
'ONLINE,' 'PHONE ORDER,' or 'IN STORE' item purchased, or 'CUSTOMER OWNED' item that was 'SERVICED' or 'REPAIRED' that was shipped and then lost, stolen, or damaged, after the delivery was made and signed for at the requested delivery address or FED EX pickup location. It is very important that the PURCHASER sign for the receipt for your package. 

Droste’s Jewelry Shoppes Inc. will not REFUND purchases, or be responsible for lost packages that are accepted and signed for by someone other than the buyer.

Return Shipping Instructions:

Return Authorization Required:
To return a CERTIFICATE DIAMOND, or any other 'ITEM' purchased from Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc., you are required to call Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc. at 800-766-7119 and talk to one of our professional diamond sales consultants or one of Droste's Certified Gemologist-Appraisers who will provide a Return Authorization and return shipping instructions describing how to safely return your purchase. Purchased Diamonds or any other returned 
'ITEM' returned to Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc. without return authorization will not be accepted. The purchaser is fully responsible for value and the return shipment of any 'ITEM' return shipped to Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc.


Return Shipping Instructions:
It is important that you use the U.S. Postal Service to return any 'CERTIFICATE DIAMOND', or any other 'ITEM' purchased from Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc. The return shipment must be shipped Registered Mail by United States Postal Service and be Insured for the Amount of the Purchase Price. It is important that you also request a Return Receipt from the United States Postal Service on a return shipment to Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc. It usually takes approximately one week for a return shipment to arrive at Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc. from locations inside the continental United States when it is shipped using United States Postal Service Registered Mail. Return shipment of a 'CERTIFICATE DIAMOND', or any other 'ITEM' must be addressed as follows:

Certificate Diamond:
To receive a FULL REFUND, on a 'CERTIFICATE DIAMOND' purchased Online or by Phone, the return shipment must be received by Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc. postmarked on or before TEN (10) DAYS from the date our Federal Express postal records indicate the original shipment was received and signed for by the purchaser, or other recipient, at the original delivery address of the shipment. (Please review our detailed Return Policies by visiting Droste's Customer Service Page and related links.)

'In Stock,' 'JEWELRY,' or 'GIFT' Item:
To receive a 
FULL REFUND on an 'In Stock,' 'JEWELRY,' or 'GIFT' item' purchased Online, by Phone, or while present in either convenient Droste's location, return shipment must be received by Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc. postmarked on or before THIRTY (30) DAYS from the purchase date on the receipt.. You will not be reimbursed for a 'CERTIFICATE DIAMOND' or any other 'ITEM' returned to Droste's until your return 'ITEM' is received and inspected by Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc. Be careful who you have examine or mount your 'CERTIFICATE DIAMOND' or any other 'ITEM' purchased from Droste's. If you choose to return a 'CERTIFICATE DIAMOND' or any other 'ITEM' purchased from Droste's, it must be in the original condition indicated by Droste's records. Once your returned item is received by Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc., and it is confirmed by one of Droste's Certified Gemologist-Appraisers to be in original condition, you will receive a refund in the amount of the purchase price MINUS only the cost of Shipping and Handling.
