Payment for 'IN STOCK' jewelry of any value may be paid by bank wire or by PAY PAL for purchases valued under $2,500.00.

  • Bank Wire Payment:If you choose to make an online or phone order payment using a bank wire, one of our professional jewelry sales consultants will email you an invoice showing specific details of your purchase along with easy to follow bank wire payment instructions.  Most U.S. banks offer bank wire payment services that can usually be facilitated within 24 hours. 

  • PAY PAL:
    If you have an active PAY PAL account, and you wish to make an Online Payment, or Phone Payment, Droste’s Jewelry Shoppes, Inc. will accept payment using PAY PAL for 'SPECIAL ORDER' or ‘Custom Jewelry’ purchases valued under $2,500. If you wish to use your PAY PAL account to pay for a 'SPECIAL ORDER' or ‘Custom Jewelry’ related purchase, one of our professional jewelry sales consultants will email to you an invoice along with safe and easy to follow PAY PAL payment instructions.

  • Layaway Policy on 'IN STOCK' Jewelry:
     
    Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc. also offers convenient LAYAWAY on 'IN STOCK' Online or Phone Order Jewelry purchases for a TERM of up to a 90 DAYS from the date the initial down payment is provided.

(2)  ‘In Store’ Payment::

Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc. will accept payment using CASH, PERSONAL CHECK, CREDIT CARD, or DEBIT CARD using a Visa, MasterCard, or Discover on 'In Stock' Jewelry & Gifts purchases when the purchaser provides payment while present in either Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc. convenient location.

Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc. will only accept payment by PERSONAL CHECK when the purchaser provides a valid DRIVERS LICENSE or other form of acceptable PHOTO IDENTIFICATION, along with a current and valid TELEPHONE NUMBER.

Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc. retains the right to refuse to accept payment by PERSONAL CHECK when the PERSONAL CHECK is of a larger dollar amount, or it is submitted after regular banking hours, or when it is a low numbered check from a new checking account, or for any other reason as determined by Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc.


(3)  Shipping Procedures:
  • Bank Wire Payment Shipping Procedures:
    When purchasing 'IN STOCK' jewelry Online or by Phone Order using bank wire payment, Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc, will ship your 'IN STOCK' jewelry purchase to the address you provide by email correspondence. Shipment of our 'IN STOCK' jewelry purchase can be sent to your home address, a business address, or to a Federal Express pickup location for pick-up at your convenience.

  • PAY PAL: 
    When purchasing 'IN STOCK' jewelry Online or by Phone Order using PAY PAL payment, Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc. will only ship your purchase to the PAY PAL shipping address. A Droste's diamond sales consultant or Certified Gemologist-Appraiser will confirm your PAY PAL shipping address with you before your purchase is packaged and shipped. All 'IN STOCK' jewelry purchases will be shipped by Federal Express Overnight Delivery.

  • Pre-Shipment Quality Inspection: Prior to shipping an 'IN STOCK' jewelry item, one of Droste's professional sales consultants or a Certified Gemologist-Appraiser will provide a detailed quality inspection of the item to make sure it meets the highest standard of quality. This includes the verification that all diamonds and gemstones are secured and set properly. Upon verification, your 'IN STOCK' jewelry purchase will be digitally video recorded during packaging prior to pickup and delivery using Federal Express. This is done to document the exact contents of the shipment for the protection of both the buyer and seller.


(4)  Refund Policies on 'In Stock' Jewelry Items:
Droste’s Jewelry Shoppes, Inc. will provide a FULL REFUND on any 'IN STOCK' jewelry purchased and returned within 30 days of receiving the item, minus the Shipping and Handling Charges. 

Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc. will provide a full refund on any regular 'IN STOCK' item purchased online or by phone. To receive a refund, the item must be returned shipped to Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc within 30 days from the original purchase date shown with the original sales receipt.  To qualify for a refund, a returned 'IN STOCK' item must be in original purchased condition. A damaged, broken, or defective 'IN STOCK' item purchased at Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc. cannot be returned for a refund. The condition of the 'IN STOCK' item will be determined at the complete discretion of Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc.

A refund on an 'IN STOCK' item purchased at Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc. will only be provided with the presentation of an original sales receipt, and the refund will only be provided in the name of the purchaser on the original receipt. Proof of identification is required before a refund can be processed.  

If you are returning an 'IN STOCK' item purchased at Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc., and you 
ARE NOT the original purchaser listed on the original sales receipt, Droste's WILL NOT provide a refund. In the event the original purchaser cannot be present, Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc. will only provide a DUE BILL which provides a credit for the full amount of the original purchase. A DUE BILL may be used towards the purchase of any jewelry or gift item at either convenient Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc. locations at any time within ONE FULL YEAR of the original issue date of the DUE BILL.

  • Return Authorization Required: 
    To receive a refund on any 'IN STOCK' jewelry purchased from Droste's by phone or online, you must first contact Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc. at 800-766-7119 and talk to one our professional sales consultants or one of Droste's Certified Gemologist-Appraisers.  At that time you will be provided a RETURN AUTHORIZATION number along with Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc. return shipping address and instructions describing how to safely return a 'IN STOCK' jewelry purchase. 'IN STOCK' jewelry purchases returned to Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc. without return authorization will not be accepted. The purchaser is fully responsible for value and the return shipment of any 'IN STOCK' jewelry purchased from Droste's Jewelry Shoppes.

  • Refund Policy on 'IN STOCK' Items with 'Minimal' Alterations:
    In the event a 'IN STOCK' jewelry item returned within 30 days of purchase, and the 'IN STOCK' jewelry item was only slightly altered at the request of the purchaser, a 'Restocking Fee' will be charged based upon labor cost to refurbish the item to its original condition.

    The option to receive a refund minus a 'Restocking Fee' is only available on 'IN STOCK' jewelry items that have very 'Minimal' Alterations. These alterations may only include: personalized sizing within 2 sizes of stock ring, engraving, or basic setting or unsetting of gemstones or diamonds. The cost to refurbish the 'IN STOCK' item will be determined by Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc. and it will not exceed 30% of the value of the original purchase price of the item.
     

    The option to receive a refund minus a 'Restocking Fee' WILL NOT be provided on 'CUSTOM', 'Custom Designed', or 'Custom Altered In Stock' jewelry.
     

    A Full Refund WILL NOT be provided on 'IN STOCK' items that have been altered in any way at the request of the purchaser.  Any decision to provide a Refund minus a 'Restocking  Fee' will be done at the sole discretion of Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc. 

  • Layaway Refund Policy for 'IN STOCK' Jewelry Items:
    In the event a layaway is cancelled before the maximum layaway term of 90 days is reached, Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc. will provide a refund by corporate check in the amount equal to the total amount the deposit(s) applied to the layaway. Please allow up to one week for the issuance of a layaway refund by corporate check. In the event a layaway exceeds the maximum allowable layaway term of 90 days, a non-refundable DUE BILL will be issued in an amount equal to the sum total of layaway deposit(s) applied to the layaway. Deposits on 'CUSTOM', 'SPECIAL ORDER,' or 'ALTERED JEWELRY' are NON-REFUNDABLE.

  • Layaway Refund Policy for 'IN STOCK' Items with 'Minimal' Alterations:
    In the event a layaway is cancelled on an 'IN STOCK' jewelry item before the maximum layaway term of 90 days is reached and the 'IN STOCK' jewelry item has been altered at the request of the layaway depositor, a 'Restocking Fee' will be charged based upon labor cost to refurbish the layaway item to its original condition.

    In the event an 'IN STOCK' jewelry item has been altered at the request of the layaway depositor and the layaway exceeds the maximum allowable layaway term of 90 days, a non-refundable DUE 
    BILL will be issued in an amount equal to the sum total of layaway deposit(s) applied to the layaway.

    The option to receive a layaway refund minus a 'Restocking Fee'
      may only be available on 'IN STOCK' jewelry items that have 'Minimal' Alterations. These alterations may include: personalized sizing within two sizes of the original stock size, engraving, or basic setting or unsetting of gemstones or diamonds. The cost to refurbish the layaway will be determined by Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc. and it will not exceed 30% of the value of the original purchase price of the layaway.

    A Full Refund WILL NOT be provided on 'IN STOCK' items on layaway that have been altered in any way at the request of the purchaser. Any decision to provide a Refund minus a 'Restocking
      Fee' will be done at the sole discretion of Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc. 


(5)  Online & Phone Purchase - Return Shipping Policies:
It is important that you only use the U.S. Postal Service to return any 'IN STOCK' jewelry to Droste's.  Return shipments must be shipped by United States Postal Service Registered Mail and Insured for the Amount of the Purchase Price. It is important that you ask the U.S. Postal Service for a Return Receipt Request on your return shipment.  It usually takes approximately a week for a return shipment to arrive at Droste's Jewelry Shoppes, Inc. when shipped within the continental United States.

Return Shipments must have Return Authorization along with all original purchase contents, including the 'IN STOCK' item purchased, the Original Invoice, and the Appraisal. Return shipments must be addressed as follows:

All sales are final and refunds will not be made on any 'IN STOCK' jewelry that was purchased online or by phone that are
  returned shipped to Droste’s Jewelry Shoppes Inc. and received more than thirty (30) days past the date postal records indicate the package was originally delivered and signed for as received.

Do not return any online purchase to Droste's Jewelry Shoppe, Inc. using Federal Express, U.P.S. or any other overnight delivery service as most overnight services often do not provide insurance coverage on high value jewelry packages.  As an established jewelry company, we provide overnight shipping to you because we can purchase special insurance through an established industry insurer that caters to the jewelry industry.
